Boston Book Festival 2012: Books Live!

The Boston Book Festival is New England's largest annual literary event. 2012's Boston Book Festival took place on Saturday, October 27. Featuring more than 125 presenters and dozens of sessions for kids and adults, the BBF also boasted a bustling street fair, workshops for aspiring authors, an outdoor music stage, and more! HOW MUCH? FREE! NO, REALLY, IT’S FREE

Because all BBF daytime sessions are free, seats to our most popular sessions fill up fast. Be sure to arrive early to get a seat! Tickets for some evening events, such as our special Page to Screen kickoff event on Oct. 26, are available for a modest admission price.   • The Drum Literary Magazine is the official literary magazine of The Boston Book Festival. The Drum has designed two new projects--flash fiction and a collaborative audio story--just for BBF 2012.
  • We're heading to the movies this October with Book to Film, a film series co-presented by the BBF and ArtsEmerson.
  • From soulful songwriting to world music grooves, the Berklee Festival Stage features the best up-and-coming musical talent.
