Spoken Word Showcase

Poetry is best experienced aloud. In this spoken word showcase, beautiful, powerful language is transformed into music to convey deep emotions and provocative ideas. Hosted by poet Iyeoka Ivie Okoawo, young Bostonians perform original works as well as those of well-known published poets. These young, dynamic poet/performers are excited to participate in the long tradition of accomplished poetic expression in Massachusetts.
