Boston Noir Launch

We are no longer accepting ticket sales for Boston Noir online, but we still have a few seats left.  Please stop by The Boston Book Festival Information Booth on Saturday to purchase tickets (while supplies last).  Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.

Celebrate the launch of the new fiction collection Boston Noir (Akashic Books) with contributing author and master of the art of noir, editor Dennis Lehane. From Dorchester to Southie and from Beacon Hill to Brookline, Boston Noir features 11 Boston neighborhoods and nearby communities in stories by contributors including Brendan DuBois, Dana Cameron, Jim Fusilli, Lynne Heitman and Russ Aborn, who will attend the launch event. Expect a dynamic, drama-filled presentation fit for the heart, soul and throat-gripping Boston Noir collection. Afterward, guests can enjoy a literatini, the official champagne cocktail of the Boston Book Festival, listen to music, have their handwriting analyzed and fortunes told. Noirish dress optional, but there will be prizes for the best femme fatale and hard-boiled private eye.

The Boston Noir Launch party will take place on Saturday, October 24 from 6:00-9:00pm at the Boston Public Library.  21+. Sponsored by The Boston Phoenix.
