The Hyde Square Task Force's Youth Literacy Theater Troupe strives to inspire a love of reading by bringing stories to life in a creative, exciting way. Throughout the school year, YLT Troupe members create plays based on children's literature and perform these plays at after-school programs. These high-school aged youth provide theater training to elementary-aged participants, involving children in the very stories that they are reading. During their first season, the YLTs have performed plays based on Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type, Miss Nelson is Missing, Wayside School is Falling Down and many others!
