The Daydream is a dynamic blend of the energy and drive of improvisation, mixed with the sound effects and experimentation of modern music. Under the direction of bassist Justin Richey, the Daydream is comprised of Berklee alum and Julliard grad student Alex Wintz on guitar, keyboardist Zach Tenorio, and Berklee alum Vishal Nayak on drums. Started in the fall semester of '10, it only played one show before disbanding due to members graduating and moving to NY. In the summer of '11 Justin and few friends from Berklee started a local arts production company named the THE DAYDREAM PROJECT specializing in art shows featuring live music, animation, and painters. The group now plays regularly with local up-and-coming visual artists from other visual art schools located in and around Boston, taking their improvisation in a new artistic direction.
