A 2001 fellowship recipient, Stefanie Friedhoff currently serves as special projects manager at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University where she organizes interdisciplinary conferences and directs the specialized Nieman fellowship in Global Health Reporting. She continues to work as a freelance journalist for U.S. and European media, and her articles have appeared in Time magazine, Germany's Frankfurter Allgemeine and Sueddeutsche Zeitung, and Switzerland's Folio and Facts, among others.
She is former news editor for BZ, Berlin’s largest daily newspaper, where she was also the editor of the Sunday magazine.
