Robin Preiss Glasser has illustrated such bestsellers as America: A Patriotic Primer, A is for Abigail, and Our Fifty States, all by Lynne Cheney; Alexander, Who's Not (Do You Hear Me? I Mean It!) Going to Move and Super-Completely and Totally the Messiest, both by Judith Viorst; Tea for Ruby by Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York; and Daddy’s Girl by Garrison Keillor, among others.

In 2005, she collaborated with Jane O’Connor to create a picture book about a little girl named Nancy who believes MORE is always better when it comes to being fancy.  Upon publication, Fancy Nancy skyrocketed to #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, going on to sell hundreds of thousands of copies and kicking off a series of Fancy Nancy books including, Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy and, most recently, Fancy Nancy and the Fabulous Fashion Boutique. Kirkus Reviews praised the series, noting, "Nancy is a hoot and her fashion-first message will resonate with many budding divas.”

Formerly a soloist with the Philadelphia Ballet, Preiss Glasser currently lives in Newport Beach, CA.
