Randall Kennedy is the author of five books, including Interracial Intimacies: Sex, Marriage, Identity, and Adoption; Race, Crime, and the Law; and his latest work, The Persistence of the Color Line: Racial Politics and the Obama Presidency. Kennedy's research focuses on the intersection of racial conflict and legal institutions in American life. He is the Michael R. Klein Professor of Law at Harvard University.
