Nicholas Negroponte
Nicholas Negroponte is the founder and chairman of the One Laptop Per Child nonprofit organization. Additionally, he is the co-founder and former director of the MIT Media Laboratory and the Jerome B. Wiesner Professor of Media Technology at MIT. His book, Being Digital, has been translated into more than forty languages. As a huge supporter of entrepreneurship, he has funded more than forty start-up companies. He has also served on the boards of companies such as Motorola and Ambient Devices.
