Maryanne Wolf

Maryanne Wolf is the Director for Reading and Language Research and an associate professor of child development at Tufts University. In addition to designing three instructional programs on thinking skills for middle school students, Dr. Wolf has edited Dyslexia, Fluency, and the Brain and written Proust and the Squid: The Story and Science of the Reading Brain. Wolf received her doctorate from Harvard University's Department of Human Development and Psychology in the Graduate School of Education. Wolf has received numerous awards, such as NICHD Shannon Award for Innovative Research, various NICHD grants, and the Distinguished Professor of the Year Award from the Massachusetts Psychological Association.
