Linda Urban is the author of the picture book Mouse Was Mad and the author of the middle-grade novel A Crooked Kind of Perfect, which was a Junior Library Guild selection and was called "an impressive and poignant debut novel . . . filled with hope and humor" by School Library Journal. Formerly the marketing director at Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena, California, Urban now lives with her family in Vermont. Her new novel for young readers is Hound Dog True.
