Laura Harrington

Laura Harrington is a novelist and playwright whose award-winning plays, musicals, operas, and radio plays have been widely produced in the U.S., Canada, and abroad. She is a two-time winner of the Massachusetts Cultural Council Award in playwriting and a two time winner of the Clauder Competition for best new play in New England. She teaches playwriting at M.I.T. and is a frequent guest artist at colleges and universities nationwide. Her new novel, based on her one-woman musical Alice Unwrapped, is Alice Bliss, which Publishers Weekly calls "a moving debut about loss and survival."
