Kelly Link
Kelly Link is the author of the bestselling short story collections Magic for Beginners, Stranger Things Happen, and Pretty Monsters, which The New Statesman calls “A unique brew of pirates and wizards, undead babysitters and dueling librarians, Kelly Link’s new short-story collection is dark, sexy and hilarious.”
Her stories have won Nebula Awards, a Hugo Award, a Locus Award, and a World Fantasy Award, and she has contributed to numerous anthologies including Holly Black and Cecil Castellucci’s Geektastic: Stories from the Nerd Herd, Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling’s Troll’s Eye View: A Book of Villainous Tales, and the new collection of original fairy tales My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me, edited by Kate Bernheimer.
Link is co-founder and co-editor of Small Beer Press and of the zine Lady Churchill Rosebud's Wristlet, which publishes work by new writers, experimental fiction and comics.
