Kathy Piehl
Funny Kids' Fiction 12:45pm BPL Rabb Lecture Hall
Kathy Piehl has master's degrees in English and library science and a specialist's degree in education. She has taught in high school and college and worked as a junior high media specialist. Piehl is a reference librarian at Minnesota State University Mankato, where she oversees collection development for children's books and directs the Center for Children's and Young Adult Books. She has written articles about children's and young adult books for a variety of publications and has reviewed for School Library Journal for over thirty years.
