John Spooner is a investment writer and novelist. His nonfiction publications include Confessions of a Stockbroker, Smart People, and Sex and Money, and his novels include Class and The Foursome. Spooner's articles have appeared in publications such as Playboy, Town and Country, the Atlantic Monthly, Esquire, Time, and the Boston Globe. He has won numerous awards both for his investment knowledge and for his writing, including the Literary Lights Award, and he has been called "Boston's best investment advisor" by the Improper Bostonian and one of the "100 Best Investment Advisors in America" by Barron's. His latest book is No One Ever Told Us That: Money and Life Letters to My Grandchildren.
