Joan Nathan is the author of ten cookbooks, including the recently published Quiches, Kugels, and Couscous: My Search for Jewish Cooking in France, which the Seattle Post-Intelligencer calls "triumphant." She is a regular contributor to The New York Times, Food Arts Magazine, and Tablet Magazine, among other publications. Her cookbooks Jewish Cooking in America and The New American Cooking both won the James Beard Award—the former also won the IACP/Julia Child Cookbook of the Year Award. Throughout her career she has appeared as a guest on numerous radio and television programs including Today, Good Morning America, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, The Martha Stewart Show, and National Public Radio.
