Holly Black is a popular author of fantasy novels for children and young adults. She is the co-author, with Tony DiTerlizzi, of the bestselling series The Spiderwick Chronicles. Her other novels include Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale. A frequent contributor to anthologies (including Steampunk! An Anthology of Fantastically Rich and Strange Stories), Black is also the co-editor of the anthologies Geektastic (with Cecil Castelluci), Zombies vs. Unicorns (with Justine Larbalestier), and Bordertown (with Ellen Kushner). Black's latest novels are White Cat and Red Glove, the first two novels in the Curse Workers series, which Publishers Weekly has called "powerful, edgy dark fantasy."
