Harry Bliss is a cartoonist, author, and illustrator who studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and illustration at the University of the Arts and Syracuse University. He has won many awards and has been a nationally-syndicated cartoonist and cover artist. He began illustrating children's books in 2001 with Sharon Creech's New York Times bestseller A Fine, Fine School and has illustrated many books since, including Diary of a Worm, Diary of a Spider, and Diary of a Fly, all by Doreen Cronin. He wrote and illustrated Bailey in 2011, and the adventures of this savvy school-attending dog continue in Bailey at the Museum in September of 2012. Bliss lives in South Burlington, Vermont.
