Before taking over as Boston magazine's executive editor, Donna Garlough was the food editor, the editor of the recently redesigned Boston Weddings --it was all about the cake, she says--and a contributor to Boston Home and New England Travel magazines. She has also worked as a home, style, and beauty editor at Martha Stewart's Body + Soul magazine, and has cowritten and edited a book on green living for National Geographic. A rabid fan of cookbooks, stinky cheeses, and home renovation, she is currently planning her third kitchen-remodeling project in four years. Her B.A. comes from Cornell University, where her most valued course was Hotel Administration 430, or Introduction to Wines.
