Dario DiBattista, an Iraq War veteran, holds an MA degree in creative writing from Johns Hopkins. His work has appeared in the Washingtonian, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and elsewhere. He teaches writing for The Veterans Writing Project at The George Washington University and at the Community College of Baltimore County. He is nonfiction editor at JMWW and a regular contributor at notalone.com. He has spoken extensively on the subject of veterans and writing, including multiple public radio appearances throughout the country.
