Daniel Tobin

Daniel Tobin is an internationally published poet, and the author of six books of poems: Where the World Is Made, Double Life, The Narrows, Second Things, Belated Heavens, and The Net (to be released in 2014). Belated Heavens was the winner of the Massachusetts Book Award in Poetry in 2011, and Tobin has also won The Robert Penn Warren Award, the Katherine Bakeless Nason Prize, and the Robert Frost Fellowship, among other awards. His poems have appeared in many journals, including the Nation, the Harvard Review, and the Hudson Review. He has also published essays on modern and contemporary poetry in the United States and abroad. Tobin is currently a professor and the interim dean at the School of Arts at Emerson College in Boston.
