Daniel Nayeri is a young adult author putting innovative twists on old classics. His new collection of novellas Straw House, Wood House, Brick House, Blow seeks to introduce young readers to classic genres such as science fiction and mystery. These novellas were written completely on his iPhone. He is also known for his work with the Another series of retellings of classic stories such as Faust and Peter Pan. These novels, written with his sister Dina, have been called "juicy" by School Library Journal and "absorbing" and "imaginative" by Publishers Weekly. In addition to his writing, Daniel is a children's book editor, an accomplished filmmaker, and a professional pastry chef.
