Corey Olsen
Corey Olsen is the author of Exploring J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. His popular website,The Tolkien Professor, includes a series of podcast lectures offering an extended close analysis of the Tolkien books and has had more than 1.8 million visitors. In addition to managing his website and the podcast, Olsen teaches in the English Department at Washington College, where he also is the Faculty Coordinator of Academic Integrity and the Faculty Advisor for Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society. Prior to teaching at Washington College, Olsen taught at Temple University, Columbia University, and Nyack College.
