The Boston Book Festival 2009 goes out with a bang. Celebrate the launch of the new fiction collection Boston Noir (Akashic Books) with its contributing author and master of the art of noir, editor Dennis Lehane. Boston Noir features eleven Boston neighborhoods and nearby communities in stories by contributors including Brendan DuBois, Dana Cameron, Jim Fusilli, Lynne Heitman and Russ Aborn, who will attend the launch event.
After the presentation, enjoy a literatini, the official champagne cocktail of the Boston Book Festival, listen to live music and see some magic. Noirish dress optional, but there will be a prize for the best femme fatale and hard-boiled private eye.
