Andre Dubus III
Andre Dubus III is the author of several novels, including House of Sand and Fog, Bluesman, and The Garden of Last Days, a New York Times bestseller, along with a collection of short fiction, The Cage Keeper and Other Stories. His work has been included in The Best American Essays, and he has been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship, The National Magazine Award for fiction, and The Pushcart Prize. His novel House of Sand and Fog was adapted into the Academy Award-nominated motion picture, and was a fiction finalist for the National Book Award and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. His newest book is the highly acclaimed memoir, Townie, which the New York Times calls "a sleek muscle car of a memoir" and the San Francisco Chronicle calls "explosive."
