Alexis Frederick-Frost is a graduate of the Master of Fine Arts program at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont. His book, Adventures in Cartooning: How to Turn Your Doodles Into Comics, written with James Sturm and Andrew Arnold, was the recipient of numerous awards, including Booklist’s Top Ten Art Books for Kids, School Library Journal’s Best Book of the Year, and the Library Media Connection’s “Best of the Best.”
Building on the success of Adventures in Cartooning, Frederick-Frost has partnered once again with Sturm and Arnold for its sequel, Adventures in Cartooning: Activity Book, which allows budding artists to doodle their way through the activities and save the day with comics.
