Alan Price, an emeritus faculty member at Penn State, is a recipient of Penn State's George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. He is the co-editor of Wretched Exotic: Essays on Edith Wharton in Europe and the author of The End of the Age of Innocence: Edith Wharton and the First World War. Many of his essays on American authors, including Wharton and Hemingway, have been published in scholarly journals.
